Techstars NYC Accelerator - Demo Day 2020

As always, there was an amazing lineup of startups on the Techstars 2020 Demo Day - both a diverse lineup of founders and company missions and technologies. While none of them fit the the Azafran thesis, it’s always great to tune into what Techstars is featuring in their accelerators.

After the pitch event, Techstars co-founder Brad Feld spoke of his journey to Boulder and the dynamics of what it takes to build a startup scene in any community.

Started in Boulder, CO, through a variety of regional programs, Techstars chooses over 500 early-stage companies to join one of their 3-month, mentorship-driven accelerators; investing $120K and providing hands-on mentorship and access to the Techstars network for life. To date, they have invested $9.3B in 2,157 companies, 85.8% of which are active or acquired at a market cap of $26.8B.
